In accordance with the Cultural Agreement between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of Barbados, 1980, China provides one or two Government Scholarship to Barbadian Students every year.

    In 2006, eight (8) Barbadian students are studying at Chinese universities with the Chinese Government Scholarship.
